Mini-show winners

The winners of the Mini Art Show at our April meeting were: "Best of Show," Jo Taylor; 1st Place, Mike Barret; 2nd Place, Judy Steenson; 3rd Place, Carolyn Wilkes.

The next general meeting of the the Art League will be on Thursday, May 23 at 2 p.m. in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room.

There will be a brief business meeting and our monthly Mini Art Show.

The guest artist of the day will be Sharon Rachal, who will give a demonstration in watercolor painting.

She will also teach the watercolor classes on June 3 and June 17 in the Main Clubhouse Arts and Crafts Room.

The Art League annual Pot Luck Dinner will be on Wednesday, May 29 at 5 p.m. in the North Clubhouse.

Come for an evening of good food and friendship, and meet our new members.

Please bring a favorite dish (main dish, side dish, salad or dessert) to share at dinner, and bring your own beverage.

Coffee and water will be provided.

There will be special entertainment, and you're welcome to bring a guest.

The previously advertised 2019 Art Show has been postponed until Saturday, Oct. 5, in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom.

This postponement will allow our talented Sun Lake artists more time to prepare their beautiful works of art for the show.
