On Monday, Jan. 14, a few Sun Lakers braved the rain and cold wind to gather by the train tracks to welcome the Union Pacific freight train pulled by the 1943 WW II Memorial Locomotive called “ The Spirit” which is painted to honor the US Armed Forces.

The second engine was the President Bush #4141 Funeral Locomotive that pulled President George H. W. Bush’s funeral train.

It was painted in the colors of Air Force One and was numbered 4141 for the 41st president.

The locomotives are touring the Union Pacific Rail System pulling freight between locations giving people a chance to see the Locomotives.
