Tyler Harper

Former Beaumont High School student and track and field athlete Tyler Harper reached new heights while competing for Riverside City College this season.

Harper won the Orange Empire Conference for pole vaulting with a 15’ 6.25” vault and finished second overall for Southern California.

Harper then placed seventh in the State Championships in San Mateo on May 17 and RCC as a team took first place overall crowning them the 2019 CCCAA (California Community College Athletic Association) Men’s Track and Field Champions. According to Kari Harper, Tyler’s mother, he has received multiple offers from colleges but has yet to decide where he will continue his athletic career.
