To the Editor,

I read about the rededication of Roosevelt Williams Park. I went to take a look. What I saw was excellent.

While I was at the park I met one of then men who takes care of the park. I complimented him about how great the park looked.

He looked sad and shook his head and went on to tell me about how the park had been trashed and how they were having a hard time keeping it clean.

What a sad comment on society and our culture. Roosevelt (who I knew) must be very sad, even weeping at what is happening to his park.
