To the Editor,

It’s a step in the right direction.  It is inherently immoral to allow a union be able to elect the very people they will negotiate with.  In the privet sector you would not find the union electing the board directors of General Motors.  Unions should not be allowed to influence an election when they will be dealing with the people that they elect.

Hogwash. Contrary to the preachings of the Koch Brothers and other anti-worker zealots, joining a union does not take away your Constitutional rights, including the right to vote. What's next, going back to the days when only white male property owners had the right to vote? I'm sure some on the Right would like nothing better.
