Louise Virginia Lengerke of Cherry Valley passed away June 8, 2019 at the age of 84.
She is remembered by her family as a kind person and a gentle soul.
She loved her family, friends and all of her pets through the years.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She loved dogs, and always had one throughout her life.
She enjoyed gardening, and she loved to read.
A former executive secretarial assistant for 43 years, she previously lived in West Covina, where she was involved with St. Christopher’s Church.
She had lived in Cherry Valley for the past 24 years.
She was predeceased in death by her parents Clara and Frank Schiel, and sister Elizabeth Schiel.
Louise is survived by her husband Fritz Lengerke of Cherry Valley; son Rick Lengerke (Maria) of Highland; daughters Tina Gandafi (David) of Highland and Maria Herrington (Jim) of Chino Hills; as well as grandchildren Tricia Bernardy, Erica Gandafi, Erin Lengerke and Tommy Lengerke; and great-grandchild Peter Bernardy.
A memorial service for Louise will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave. in Beaumont starting at 4 p.m.
