Donald Reed

Donald Reed, 87, passed away on Oct. 18, 2018, in Banning.

He was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., moved to Long Beach, Calif. and worked at the Long Beach Naval Shipyard. After retirement, Donald and his wife Ann moved to a retirement community in Banning where they spent the remainder of their 55 years together.

Donald is survived by the love of his life, Ann Reed; his daughter Deborah (Dan) Matloff; Deborah’s children: Cassandra Wheelwright and Chad (Nicole) Wheelwright; his son, Thomas (Michele) Delahanty; Thomas’ children: Brian, Nicolas and Donny; his great-grandchildren: Alexandria, Daniel Jr., Evan, and Ava; his sisters, Patricia (Richard) Ball, Clara (Bruce) Gans; many nieces and nephews; and his cat, Lucky.

Services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 11 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, CA 92518.
