Delphine L. Chatigny

Delphine L. Chatigny was born May 30, 1924 and passed away May 20, 2019.

Delphine lived in Beaumont for 71 years; she passed away May 20, 2019, at the age of 94.

Delphine was born May 30, 1924, in Casper, Wyoming. She moved to Los Angeles in 1926 as a little girl with her family.

She moved to Beaumont, in 1948 with her husband Albert A. Chatigny, Sr., where they raised 11 children.

Delphine was a Teacher’s Aid at Wellwood Elementary School for 10 years.

She had a true heart that loved children.

She was blessed with 31 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Delphine is survived by four daughters and five sons; Andrew Chatigny, Delia True, Mary Shelley, Albert A. Chatigny, Jr., Adrian Chatigny, Joseph Chatigny, Danny Chatigny, Yvonne Delongchamp, and Margaret A. Chatigny.

Delphine was preceded in death by her mother and father, Logan and Mary O’Brien; her husband Albert A. Chatigny, Sr.; her daughter Isabelle C. Chatigny; her son Logan M. Chatigny; her grandchildren Travis and Stacey Chatigny; and her great-granddaughter, Emery August.

Funeral services will be held June 22 at 11 a.m. at Life Point Church, 565 N. San Gorgonio Ave., Banning.
