Charles Alvarado

Charles “Charlie” Alvarado, 70, a lifelong resident of Cabazon, passed away on June 16, 2019.

He was born on May 21, 1949 in Loma Linda.

He was Catholic and worked as a seasonal construction worker.

Charlie is survived by his children: Charlena Alvarado of Banning, Salina Alvarado Rodriguez of Upland, Santos Alvarado of Anchorage, Alaska and Alfonso Garcia of Banning; brothers Manuel Alvarado, Ronnie Alvarado, Anthony Calvillo, Johnny Calvillo, Gregory Calvillo, Mario Calvillo; and sisters Martha Alvarado, Rachel Caranco, Margarita Torres, Rita Negrete, Mary Reyes; as well as 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren with grandson Noah Rodriguez to arrive in late October.

He was preceded in death by his father Manuel Alvarado of Hemet; mother, Margarita Yanez of Banning; stepmother Esperanza Alvarado of Hemet; and brother Joseph Alvarado of Banning.

A viewing will take place on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 1 p.m.-4 p.m., at Wiefels & Son Mortuary, 50 E. Nicolet St. in Banning. Burial will take place at a later date at San Gorgonio Memorial Park in Banning.
