Carolyn Joy Waters Beltran

Carolyn Joy Waters (Beltran) will always be in our hearts and on our minds.

Carolyn passed away peacefully in her sleep at home with her family and her precious dog Daisy on May 23, 2019.

She was born in Illinois on Sept. 23, 1936 and raised in Yuma, Ariz. and moved to Cabazon in 1971 where she lived off and on for about 30 years.

She worked in the Cabazon post office for 25 years.

She is survived by sister Eva Magdolino; three daughters: Lisa Leavitt (Chuck), Diane Davis (Alan) and Nancy Beltran (Beau); two sons Steve Beltran (Sharon) and Robert Beltran (Amy); 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Carolyn was an awesome mom, a strong, beautiful woman, an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

She will be missed.

The last verse read to her the night she passed was Psalm 23.

Services were held in Yuma.
