In its Inland Empire region, Pardee Homes targeted two local organizations for holiday giving: Riverside Meals on Wheels and Carol’s Kitchen.

This year, Pardee Homes’ sales team delivered Thanksgiving meals through Riverside Meals on Wheels reaching out to area senior citizens.

The Pardee Inland Empire team served Thanksgiving meals to the homeless at Carol’s Kitchen in Beaumont.

Pardee Homes assembled over 200 care kits for Carol’s Kitchen in conjunction with HomeAid Inland Empire during Homeless Awareness Month in November.

“Community giving is a core value of Pardee Homes, and while it happens all year, Holiday Giving holds a special place,” said Mike Taylor, division president for Pardee Homes’ Inland Empire region. “Lending a hand is especially significant this time of year, and is tremendously rewarding for all of us at Pardee Homes.

“The holiday giving program has become a bright spot in the corporate culture of the company, allowing employees to celebrate the spirit of the season and the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting the communities in which we build,” he said.

Carol’s Kitchen serves nutritious hot meals four days a week to fulfill their mission of helping those in need with dignity and compassion in the San Gorgonio Pass area.

Riverside Meals on Wheels, Inc. depends on private donations and grants to lower the cost of meals for senior, disabled and housebound neighbors in greater Riverside County.
