A man was shot and killed late Tuesday afternoon in Banning and police are asking for the public’s help to aid them in the investigation.

On Sept. 18, 2018, at 3:51 p.m., Banning Police Department patrol personnel responded to the area of the 3800 block of W. Ramsey Street in the City of Banning, in regards to a male that had been shot.

Officers arrived at the location and located a male adult, who has not been identified at this time, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics soon arrived and administered medical aid; however, the male succumbed to his injuries. The Banning Police Department Detective Bureau responded to the location and took over the investigation.
