For Saturdays and Sundays through the end of December, the Grand Oak restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and until 2 p.m. on Sundays with a festive brunch menu that include farm-to-table items such as Santa Buttermilk Pancakes and Norwegian Benedict egg dishes.
Santa's Worshop is in full swing at the Highland Springs Resort's organic galleries, and free photo sessions with Santa are available between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on weekends.
Christmas afternoon tea sessions at the Organic Galleries 123 Cafe include lavender scone and clotted cream, orange cranberry scone, tiamisu, walnut shortbread, lemon bar, and choice of ogranic tea, along with a glass of sparkling wine is available during Grand Oak hours for $25 per person.
Local vendors have taken over some of the Highland Springs Resort's vintage hotel rooms to cater to the them of 12 Days of Christmas, offering mulled wine, Christmas beer, cheese, homemade cookies and handmade gifts for sale.
The resort hosts a chicken egg harvest workshop on Sundays from 1:15-1:45 p.m. for $3 per person; registration is available online at 123-farm.myshopify.com .
