Local gymnasts from the Banning and Beaumont areas competed last weekend at the U.S.A.G. National Championships in Palm Springs, taking home silver medals.

They rode to the competition in style. Their coaches treated the kids to a ride in a 20 passenger SUV limousine and took them to lunch at the Spaghetti Factory in Palm Springs before heading to the Opening Ceremonies.

The team competed in two events with each team member receiving two medals plus a team trophy. The team made friends with another team all the way from Sweden and also enjoyed meeting other teams from Alaska, Texas and Wisconsin.
