The Miss Beaumont pageant will be held Saturday, May 13, at the Albert A. Chatigny Center, 1310 Oak Valley Parkway, in Beaumont.

Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Tickets at the door are $8.

There are seven contestants this year.

They are: Juliet Penna, 16, 11th grade, Beaumont High School; Destinie Ruvalcava, 16, 10th grade, Beaumont High School; Nicolette Lovell, 15, 10th grade, Beaumont High School; Alyssa Duncan, 17, 11th grade, Beaumont High School; Elizabeth Averette, 14, 9th grade, Beaumont High School; Emma Valdivia, 15, 10th grade, Beaumont High School; Kaylie Wood, 17, 12th grade, Beaumont High School.

The chosen queen and court will participate in the upcoming Cherry Festival parade and city events held throughout the year.
