Dear Grace Fellowship Family,

I wanted to give an update on church actives in relation to the growing health concerns from the coronavirus. Governor Newsom recommended that all gatherings of 250 or more people be canceled or postponed, and people at higher risk of contracting the virus (people over 60 or who have chronic health conditions) should avoid events with more than than 10 people. Additionally, President Trump declared a state of national emergency on Friday as the virus continues to spread, and Beaumont Unified School District has canceled all classes. For these reasons, the elders at Grace Fellowship have decided to cancel our Sunday morning services, as well as Sunday evening Awana and youth gatherings temporarily.

I am glad for the work others are doing to help stop the spread of COVID-19, and am thankful for the ways God uses many different people to protect us from harm. I hope you will take this time to renew your hope in the Lord, and say with the Psalmist, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in You. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?” (Psalm 56:3-4)

In Christ,

Pastor Brian
