Shiloh James Neely holds the distinction of being the first baby of the New Year at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital.

Shiloh, who was born at 4:58 a.m. on Jan. 2, has an older brother named Ivan, who is 3 years old.

His parents are Jeanna Belladona and Manuel Neely. Mr. Neely is serving in the Marines, stationed in Japan, and won’t see his new son until July when he returns home.

Shiloh’s family has a history with the San Gorgonio Pass. Both sides of the family are long-time residents of Beaumont.

Jeanna was born in Beaumont and her paternal grandfather was born in Beaumont.

Her paternal grandfather and great-grandfather were the original owners of Woodley’s Jewelry in Beaumont.

Jeanna is a patient of Dr. Karim Toursarkisian, but since he was out of town, Dr. Jeung Yoo stepped in and delivered Shiloh.
