Happy birthday Betty Mock

Betty Mock celebrated her 85th birthday with a Betty Boop decorated cake.

On a recent Saturday evening, family and friends gathered in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom to celebrate Betty Moore Mock’s 85th Birthday.

As Betty Mock is a Betty Boop fan, the guests were asked to wear some red in their attire. Carrying along with the Betty Boop theme, each table had a Betty Boop Cookie Centerpiece. The cookies were baked and decorated by our own Bob the baker.

Centerpiece bases were fashioned by Linda Massey and LaNelle Neet. Betty’s husband Bill and his trusty assistant Bianca McDade planned the beautiful party.

Mariachi music filled the room as the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers. The Mariachi’s played Happy Birthday and the guests sang along. Some of the guests were moved to get up and dance to the lively music.

Betty greeted each of her guests as she circulated the room in her beautiful red gown. A sumptuous dinner of Steak and Lobster was served and enjoyed by all. To top off the delicious dinner a yummy chocolate birthday cake was served. After everyone’s stomach was full to the brim with the sumptuous dinner, Betty thanked everyone for coming to celebrate her birthday.

Many of her family and friends feted Betty with their thoughts of their years of friendship. It was a great party celebrating a wonderful woman’s 85th birthday.
