Jaime D. Platt, Sr., 57, passed away in his Banning home on Feb. 3, 2016 with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Bellflower, Calif. on Aug. 20, 1958. Jaime worked as a crane operator, was an international operator engineer and the Local 12. He was the previous owner of Dick’s Motorcycles of Banning. Jaime was featured on a live interview for Easy Rider. He was a Christian and a member of Highland Springs Fellowship in Banning.
Thomas Allen Frank passed away on Feb. 2, 2016 at Brookdale Senior Living Solutions. He was 53.
Patricia Adelle Tamulonis Foster passed away on Jan. 15, 2016 in Beaumont. She was 66.
Rollie Sandeen passed away Jan. 22, 2016 at his home in Palm Springs. He was 84.
Amelia (Emily) Carranza Villalobos passed away on Feb. 4, 2016. She was born on May 9, 1931 to Anastacio L. Carranza and Esperanza Marruquin in Thermal, Calif. She was one of four children.
Alejandro “Hondo” Garcia passed away on Feb. 1, 2016. He was born on June 11, 1975.
William Rex McNay was born July 18, 1925 at Humeston, Iowa, but grew up on a farm near Derby, Iowa. He passed away on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 at home where he was being cared for.
Joseph “Joey” Nicholas Nocito passed away peacefully on Jan. 14, 2016 at his home in Beaumont. Joe was born Feb. 13, 1981 in Bishop, Calif. To John Nocito and Connie Knight. As a longtime Boise resident, he loved playing football for Les Bois, Boise High School and Timberline High School. Joe also enjoyed bodybuilding, MMA training, camping, fishing, hiking and floating the Boise River with his countless friends.
Bertha Margarite Anderson, 93, of Coffeyville, Kan. passed away on Jan. 27, 2016 at her home.
Grace Dominguez-Gonzales passed away on Jan. 19, 2016. She was 78.
Patricia Adelle Tamulonis Foster passed away on Jan. 15, 2016 in Beaumont. She was 66.
Donovan Peter Chapparosa passed away on Jan. 26, 2016 at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in Banning. Donovan was born in Arlington, Calif. on Jan. 23, 1955. He was married to his wife of 41 years where they resided in Banning.
Tamond M. Smith, 33, passed away on Jan. 16, 2016 in Indio.
Herbert Madison Watson, Jr., the only child of Herbert and Lillian Watson, was born in Winston-Salem, N.C., on July 26, 1923.
Mamerto B. Carrillo, Mike, as we call him, was born in the Philippines on May 11, 1923. While working during the day, he went to school at night. He graduated with a degree in business management, majored in accounting at Far Eastern University in Manila. While working in Manila, he met his wife Macrina and soon after they had a son, Michael. Opportunity came when he was offered a job in the U.S. Naval Forces in Guam where he obtained his U.S. citizenship. He proceeded to come to Los Angeles and ordered his wife and son from the Philippines to join him in L.A. His wife Mac, devotedly took care of Mike and son, Michael, while living in Palm Springs. Their son Michael became a doctor, but passed away in 1992 at the age of 42.

Anna Carmen (Padilla) Hansen passed away Sunday, Jan. 10 in Hemet at the age of 92. Anna was born in New Mexico, one of 12 children on Jan. 8, 1924. She moved to California as a young adult and settled in Southern California. She worked many years in the retail clothing industry and was married to her husband Earl J. Hansen for more than 60 years until his death in 2010.
Donald D. Haley, 84, passed away on Jan. 13, 2016 in Hemet. He was born on March 20, 1931 in Fargo, N.D. After graduating from the Naval School of Justice in Newport, he was assigned to a Seabee battalion as a court reporter in the Philippines and served in the Korean War. In later years, he became an editor, actor with a theater group that performed in the Los Angeles area, a playwright and poet. An early byline appeared in the Los Angeles Magazine.

Ruby Olvera Moore passed away on Jan. 2, 2016 at her home in Banning. She was 81.
Jon William Huffman, 76, passed away peacefully on Jan. 1, 2016 at Cherry Valley Skilled Nursing Facility.
Thomas Brozowski, 78, passed away on Dec. 29, 2015 in Banning. He was born on Nov. 24, 1937 in New York City to Anthony and Eleanor Brzozowski. Thomas had a very eventful life, he lived in New York and later attended school in New Jersey before moving to California, where he lived in Thousand Oaks, Cherry Valley, and spent his last moments in Banning. He attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. Thomas worked as a computer programmer/engineer for IBM for 33 years, and worked with Conservative Voice Radio KMET. He was a Catholic and a member of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Beaumont.
Mildred Peal McIntyre, 94, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015 at her home in Banning. She was born Jan. 20, 1921 in Turley, Okla. to James and Martha Kennedy. Millie graduated from Coachella Valley high School in 1939. She has resided in Banning for the past 26 years and she was always an active member of New Hope Fellowship Church in Banning.
George Allen Siever, Sr., 57, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015 at his home in Beaumont. He was born June 27, 1958 in Beaumont to Irvon and Betty Siever. George has been a landscaper for local homes and businesses in the area for over 20 years and he was an active member of the Pure Rock Church in Beaumont.
Josephine T. Harvey passed away peacefully at her home in Cherry Valley on Dec. 24, 2015. She was born Aug. 26, 1919, in Bayonne, N.J. to Joseph and Martha Ziolkowski. She was the youngest of nine children, who all preceded her in death.
Beloved wife of Mike Reveles for 65 years, “Margie,” born in Moline, Ill., to Angel and Nieves Reyes, passed away peacefully Dec. 31 in Loma Linda.
Andrew Stephen Chaparosa, Sr. passed away on Dec. 22, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in Ontario. He was 81.
Nolberto “Bobby” Moreno, Jr., 58, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015 at his home in Cabazon. He was born Feb. 6, 1957 in Bakersfield to Nolberto and Elsa Moreno. Nolberto graduated from Mesa High School in 1976 and attended Mesa Community College. Nolberto was a Sargent in the Marine Corps for 13 years where he received a National Defense Medal, a Good Conduct Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Rifle Expert Badge, and Pistol Expert Badge. In addition he was an aviation ordnance munitions technician. Nolberto resided in Beaumont for 20 years and Cabazon for the past three years where he has worked for Smiths Landscaping Services for the past year and Construction for 20 years prior to that.
Lavonne Dee Andrew left this world to be with our Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 24, 2015. Lavonne passed away at her residence, Ramona Rehab Center in Hemet, with staff and loved ones at her bedside. Lavonne was born Feb. 25, 1931, in Oak Creek, Colo., the fifth of seven children, to Carl and Carrie Miles.
James Arthur Justice, 50, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015 in Banning. He was born July, 27, 1965 in Los Angeles to James and Janice Justice. James has resided in Banning and Beaumont for the past 20 years.
Shirley Ann Linton passed away on Dec. 23, 2015 at home at the Morongo Indian Reservation. She was 56.
Jeffrey Lynn Kirchner passed away Dec. 9, 2015, in Cabazon.
Ann Marie Edner passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Dec. 20, 2015, in Huntington Beach. Ann was born in Cambridge, Mass., the sixth of eight children. Ann married James Neary and raised seven children in the community of Torrance. Ann graduated from El Camino College and practiced nursing at Torrance Memorial as a registered nurse. Ann married her second husband, Harold Edner, and they moved to Sun Lakes Country Club in Banning. At Sun Lakes, Ann was an avid bowler, involved in the Friendship Club and volunteered for the Beaumont Police Department.
Mary Aldene Olson, 91, of Banning, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015. She was born Dec. 4, 1924, in San Bernardino.
Patricia Ann Cote, 69, passed away on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015 at Sun Lakes in Banning. She was born Aug. 26, 1946 in Long Beach to Edgar and Maxine Carter.

John F. “Jack” Hood, of Corona, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at the age of 85.
Charmaine Patricia Rowland, 87, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 in Fontana. She was born Jan. 27, 1928 in Pratt, Kansas to Harold and Agnes Hutchinson. Charmaine graduated from Beaumont High School in 1945 where she was nominated yell leader with her sister Rose, and the Cherry Queen of Cherry Valley. Shortly after graduating high school she attended Riverside Community College and, for the past 51 years, she has resided in Fontana.
Pauline “Tula” Tankalakis, 80, passed away on Dec. 11, 2015. Born in Chicago, Ill., on Jan. 22, 1935, Pauline married her husband of 57 years, George, and moved to Banning 14 years ago. Before that they lived in Daytona Beach, Fla.
