    Thomas Leo Bogaczyk
    Thomas Leo Bogaczyk, 65, of Beaumont, passed away June 30, 2008. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He resided in Beaumont for a month and formerly in Highland for two years.

    Frank Geiser
    Frank Geiser, 86, of Beaumont passed away June 24, 2008. He was born on January 15, 1922 in Lincoln, Neb. He resided in Beaumont for 48 years and previously in Columbus, Neb. for 38 years.

    Ralph W.E. Irwin Jr.
    Ralph W.E. Irwin, Jr. was born July 1, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the fourth of six children born to the Rev. and Mrs. Ralph W.E. (Lucille Jones) Irwin, Sr. He was educated in the Philadelphia public school system (McMichael Elementary and West Philadelphia High School).

    Zelma Mae LaBaw
    Zelma Mae LaBaw, born in 1913, in Froid, Mont., passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008. Zelma was a long-time resident of the Cherry Valley/Beaumont area. She spent her adolescent years living in Montana and San Diego. She lived briefly in the Panama Canal Zone, where she became a member of the Eastern Star. She moved to Pomona in the mid-40s and on to Cherry Valley in 1949, where she and her husband had a chicken ranch for several years. Zelma was employed as a secretary at the Welfare Department, The Presbyterian Church and ran the grocery store at the Cherry Valley Locker in the late 50s. She also worked as a secretary for the Unified School District until the mid 80s, when she retired. Zelma loved to travel and was quite active in various clubs, organizations and the Beaumont Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Mae and husband Paul. Her daughters, Annah Rigney and Geniece Larkey, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren survive her. Interment will be private. Arrangements handled by Weaver Mortuary.

    Florence J. Pehau
    Florence J. Pehau, 95, of Chula Vista, Calif. passed away June 23, 2008. She was born on February 17, 1913, in Ault, Kan. She moved to Banning in 1950. Pehau was active in Jr. Woman's Club and Woman's Club and PTA, holding various offices. She participated in the exchange of foreign students, teaching small children at Hemmerling School and baby-sat many children, who knew her as “grandma.”

    Claire R. Scheitlin
    Claire R. Scheitlin entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 29, 2008. She was born in Paterson, N.J. and was the daughter of Robert and Claire Schuerer. She lived in New Jersey most of her life.
